What is New Daz?
At the same time to reflect this new improved product we thought it was time to give Daz a bit of a makeover and update the look of our packs. The new packs are designed to reflect the brilliant whites you can get with new Daz. We’ve listened to your comments on how awkward difficult it was to get into the small powder boxes too! Check out the new pour spout on the 1.1kg powder packs – hopefully these will make dispensing the powder easier and a lot less messy! Finally we wanted to keep you updated on everything that’s going on in Daz’s very own Soap Opera “Cleaner Close”, so on the back of the packs now you’ll find the characters from the Close getting up to their usual antics! As always we’d love to know what you think, so drop us a line! Daz Powder is designed to be dispensed in the drawer of the machine . It contains an optimized whiteness system that is great for getting your whites brilliant white, while not being too harsh on your colours. New Daz still contains Mealtime Mess Magnets too, that help keep your clothes white by seeking out tough food stains in the wash. Daz Tablets are an easy and convenient way to wash your clothes as they are pre-measured, so they're ready to pop straight into the drawer of the machine. Daz Tablets also contain an optimized whiteness system that ensures your whites come out brilliantly white while not being too harsh on your colours. New Daz Tablets still have Meal Time Mess Magnets that seek out those tough food stains in every wash! Daz liquid dissolves quickly in your machine. It can also be used to pre-treat tough stains. We recommend dispensing from Daz's specially designed dosing ball (a ‘Quickball') which can be used to pre-treat tough stains and then be placed on top of your wash in the drum. Liquids do not contain any bleaching agents making it a better, more gentle choice for your colours. New Daz Liquitabs come in handy single doses and pack in all the best cleaning power of Daz. They go straight inside the washing machine so it couldn’t be easier. No mucking around, just great Daz results.
Should I put the tablets in the machine drawer or the drum? Daz Tablets dissolve very easily and should only be used in the machine drawer. There is no need for a net or any other dosing device.
What should I use to wash my coloured garments? It is recommended to separate your colours from your whites and wash them separately. For mixed-cololur garments ("Danger Whites") - whites which have coloured parts on them - Daz Powder and Daz Tablets contain the revolutionary Dyelock technology that works to lock in the dyes and helps to prevent them from running onto your whites. For all-colour loads, we recommend Daz Liquid, which does not contain any bleaching agents, making it a better, more gentle, choice for colours.
My care label says not to use a detergent that contains an optical brightener, so what should I use? We would recommend that you use Daz liquid as it doesn't contain any optical brighteners.

What should I use for delicates such as wool and silk garments, with special finishes or care instructions? We don't recommend the use of any Daz product for special care garments. Always read the care label instructions very carefully, and if in doubt, try and contact the garment manufacturer for their advice. For woollens and silks, Dreft Fibrocare (for machines) and Dreft Handwash powders are ideal.
Is Daz Biological? Yes - All Daz products are biological (i.e. they contain enzymes). For a non-biological product we recommend Fairy.

What effects can Daz have on skin? Do the products cause allergies or skin irritation? Under conditions of normal use, Daz laundry detergents are not expected to cause any skin irritation or allergic reactions. Under conditions of misuse and exaggerated exposure involving prolonged skin contact with the concentrated product, Daz laundry detergent may cause mild, transient skin irritation reactions. Skin Irritation: There are many circumstances in everyday life which may cause skin problems to the average person and are not related to the use of laundry detergents. They include, for example, illness, consumption of medicines, foods, or beverages, contact with plants or pets, etc. Exercise, perspiration, and/or tight clothing are also common factors which, either alone or in combination, may often result in skin irritation reactions. Regarding Daz Laundry products, only after prolonged exposure to the concentrated material (as a consequence od misus or accidents) they are likely to cause skin irritation effects, which are expected to be mild and transient in nature. When a consumer has been normally using Daz for a long time without expriencing any problems and there is a sudden appearance of a skin reaction, it is unlikely that the problem be related to the use of the product. Likewise, one single usage of Daz is very unlikely to be the cause of any skin problem. Skin Allergies: True detergent allergies are very rare. It is unlikely that Daz detergents or any ingredients, including perfumes present in them would cause an allergy. Detergents and their ingredients aren't usually in contact with the skin at high levels for long periods of time. Thorough evaluations were done to make sure that Daz products and/or their ingredients, including perfumes do not cause allergies.
